Writer's Block: Prying Eyes

All the bloody time, it's what a copper does. Really, they usually aren't 'alf as interestin' as you might think. 'cept for when the nutters go on about killin' people an' eatin' their intestines an' whatnot, but we usually don' need t' actually read those t' figure out cases like that, it's generally pretty bloody obvious when we find th' victims with bleeding great bitemarks in them.
Or there's th' birds who make recordin's of themselves goin' on about 'ow they're from the future an' 'ow they secretly hate me an' all. (Personally, I was expectin' somethin' more along th' lines of 'ow 'er knickers wind up sodden every time she's around me, but I expect she keeps those for her very secret diary an' all. Speakin' of which, I really ought t' check an' see if we've still got th' stuff from 'er flat in th' evidence room.)
